I found this roofing contractor online during a Google search and based on the reviews I decided to give them a call. They were able to come out relatively quickly to do a free estimate, they provided some great feedback that is in the best interest of the customer which I greatly appreciated. They did a great job installing, not mentioned the clean up after. I was home during the installation and I saw all what came off the old roof around the house, I was truly impressed with the clean up. The price depends on the size of your roof, for the average price is over $9k so if you prepared to spend around that amount you'll be fine. I totally recommend 👌. Yes, it's a business however, they are fully transparent providing you with that peace of mind. ~ Lawrence H

Columbia Contracting, LLC did an Amazing Job on my roof. The co-owner, Mr. E. Serrano was incredibly professional and personable. His customer service is top notch and should set an example for the industry! He was courteous from our initial phone conversation to the moment he stepped into my home and throughout all of our communications. His team performed the work on time and with excellence. They were diligent from the onset of the job until completion, constantly cleaning excess debris and maintaining order all while working efficiently. With the exception of the noise from them performing their job, you wouldn't have known they were here. Columbia Contracting LLC did a fabulous job with our home and garage roof replacement. We not only rec'd competitive pricing but also information about submitting the roof replacement to our homeowners insurance for a discount, other roofing companies did not mention this to us. The email received for the job was very thorough. We rec'd the quote, signed the contract and they start 4 days later. They were fast and efficient completing the job in one day. Clean up was excellent and there was no evidence left on our property that we even had a roof replacement that day. We are super pleased with the quality of work and the general manager, Erwin's, accessibility to our questions prior to the roof replacement, during, and his after inspection of the job. ~ Anna G

Let's face it. No one likes to spend money on things like roofs and gutters. But Columbia Contracting makes it as painless as possible. We recently replaced our roof and gutters and had some other exterior repair work done. Columbia Contracting was terrific to work with. They were prompt; they provided a clear explanation of everything they were going to do; their price was very fair; their work crews were professional and courteous; their work was terrific; and their cleanup work after they completed the job was thorough and amazing. Well my old roof was well past needing replaced, so I got some quotes. Erwin Serrano came out and did an inspection and measured the roof. He was very professional. We stayed in contact as I got more quotes. He never pressured me to decide. After comparing several quotes his was the most economical in my opinion. The crew arrived on time with materials and installed the rood in one day, cleaned up and it looked like they were never there. Since the crew spoke spanish I called Erwin several time with questions which he either answered immediately, or got the answer and called me back. He came back the day after install and checked over the job and answered some more questions. I would recommend Columbia Contracting for anyone needing a roof. ~ Loren M

Mr Serrano and his contacting team did a great job installing my new roof. He was extremely helpful, professional and patient, he explained the whole process of replacing the roof in detail, what products would be used, how long it would take and even showed me pictures of how it would look after. When I say these guys did an excellent job, I mean they really did an excellent job. The team was on time, they installed the roof the same day. They left no trash behind it was like they were never there. I highly recommend Mr. Serrano and his team to install your roof. His contractor also had to replace the drywall in my bathroom from my roof leaking. Yes, all the work was completed same day. I am very pleased with my new roof. I also see they install decks. The professionalism with erwin is out of this world, first off I had another company referred to me by my Neightbor to get a new roof. I had the company come for inspection, submitted the claim through my insurance. Which approved new roof. Got the check in the mail and the original company went out of business. I was referred by my father-in-law to call erwin at Columbia contracting. He came next day. And was even able to beat my original claim price. From the time I signed the contract for the new roof on a Thursday. He had my roof on my house by the next Wednesday. my wife and 2 kids were home and watch most of the process and she was extremely happy with how well the were being diligent of my neighbors, flowers and grass as I live in a townhouse. 1000% Recommend Columbia contracting for any of your home remodeling needs. They did an excellent job (replaced vinyl siding, with addition of insulation board and house wrap), they got the work done in a quick time frame, and was on par or ~5% cheaper than the other estimates I got. I mostly chose Columbia Contracting LLC over the other companies with equivalent estimates because Erwin who came and did the estimate was professional and did not try and up sell me anything or act like the stereotypical "used car salesman" that some of the other companies did. Just asked me what I wanted, took the measurements, and provided me with the estimate via email a day later without trying to rip me off. ~ Shane S

Columbia Contracting LLC did an exceptional job of installing my new roof! They were on time, polite & respectful. Had a leaking skylight so gave Columbia Contracting LLC a call based on positive Google reviews. Erwin said he could fit me in on the same afternoon. He inspected the leaking skylight from the roof, showed me signs of prior repairs and recommended a gutter extension to keep water from the skylight. He was very friendly and professional. Told me 1-3 days for a formal quote. Got the quote and it included all of the insurance and license information in a PDF. Price seemed reasonable. I esigned the contract and they performed repairs on the following Saturday. It rained a lot the week after and no leaks. I took some pictures of the work and could see from my upper bedroom window and they removed a lot of shingles to make sure it was a thorough fix. I was very pleased with the quality and getting the repair done right. The crew was very friendly and I had a great experience. Will use again and would definitely recommend. Thank you! ~ Josh P

Had Columbia put a new roof on my house over here in Ladysmith. Erwin is a very solid guy and was efficient and effective. I was surprised at how quickly his crew was able to get the project up and running. I did not make Erwin's life particularly easy, as I had already selected and purchased the exact components that I wanted and basically asked Erwin's crew to do a one-off install. His guys were solid. The roof was installed almost exactly one year ago and we have been issue-free! Over all recommend Columbia; good service at a very competitive price. ~ DTownsend

Last week we had our +20 year old deck removed and rebuilt by Columbia Contracting LLC. We absolutely hit a home run selecting this company!! This is a father and son company who truly represent a pride in ownership and practice a high level of customer service. Erwin (Son) represents the high customer service level from start to finish of the job. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and just down right honest! The removal of our original wood deck and the rebuild of a gorgeous up to date deck was completed in three days. Also had the company replace my old gutter above the deck. Such an incredible experience having our roof replaced. Erwin was kind and personable. He took the time to explain everything that needed to be repaired and answered all my questions before I could ask. The crew showed up all on time and were fantastic. Roof was done in half a day and their clean up left everything around the house spotless. Erwin came back and did a final check of everything and ran a magnet again around the house like he said he would. I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Serrano (Father) a couple years ago for an estimate to replace the roof back then. Unfortunately we were unable to afford the replacement then but he offered to make some repairs to carry us over. I promised Mr. Serrano that when we were ready to replace the roof we would use his services and we did and were not disappointed. We plan on using them again for other projects without hesitation. If it were warmer outside, I'd be writing this review from the gorgeous deck that Columbia Contracting built for me. I initially hired them to replace my roof shingles, vinyl siding, and gutters. Helber Serrano walked me through everything with clear explanations of processes and costs. My roof was done in a day. It looks great and performs in wind and heavy rain like a properly installed roof should. My old siding was installed over just studs and insulation. Columbia Contracting meticulously installed plywood before putting up the siding, and my house no longer rattles in a strong wind.Columbia Contracting resurfaced my dilapidated deck with gray composite planks and white vinyl rails. It's gone from eye-sore to showpiece, and I couldn't be more pleased. Mr. Serrano was flexible enough to accommodate the minor changes I requested, and I always understood the costs involved. Working with Columbia Contracting was a very good experience and I'm happy to give them my recommendation. ~ David R

Erwin and his team at Columbia Contracting replaced the siding and soffit on my property in Spotsylvania and the project looks fantastic. They were professional and provided an excellent and informative cost proposal and assisted me with the selection of colors for the siding, soffit, and shutters complete with some renderings which really helped us visualize the project. The installation was fast and efficient and did not disrupt my current tenant one bit. They cleaned up all the old materials and were in communication with me the entire time. I was contacted by Columbia Contracting after I left information on Porch.com looking for shingles to be replaced on a house and shed. I received a professional quote by email on a couple of days and the quote was very thorough detailing what would be done. I accepted the quote and made the initial payment. The roof work included some deck replacement which was done at a fair cost. The roofs were completed in a day by a competent crew and the area was carefully cleaned of any debris before leaving. I was surprised that the owner met with me to give an estimate. He listened to my needs vs financial situation and gave me three estimates as requested. I did get estimates from other companies and decided to go with this one. Delivery and work estimates were given. The work started within that time. I was told what to expect prior to work starting. The workers were awesome! They explained what they were doing and took pictures throughout so they could show me why they were doing what they were doing. Most work was included in the estimate. The small part that wasn't was clearly documented. The owner had warned before hand that it was a possibility. Basically the owner knows his stuff and knew that the builder of my home had a habit of not installing plywood under siding... Luckily it was only the attic walls... Anyway, I knew going in what was most likely going to be an issue. The project came in under what was expected. BTW, did I mention that the workers were awesome? Because they were. ~ Leigh A

Columbia Contracting does great work. This company is professional, personable, and communicative. We went through a 5-month back-and-forth with our insurance, and Columbia Contracting worked with them the whole process, all while keeping us informed. The contractors were professional & cleaned up thoroughly at the end, every representative of the company was on time, and we were kept updated regularly. The estimate itself was packaged up with aerial photos of our house, measurements, product descriptions, as well as an itemized list of the work needed with transparent pricing. Columbia Contracting redid our entire siding as well as repaired rotten fascia along our gutter. When they finished, management came back to check the work performed and address any follow up questions. We highly recommend them for their work, products used, and the personal touches of direct communication & transparent estimates. Had three different companies come out to inspect the roofing on our home and garage; Columbia Contracting was the ONLY company to catch all the flaws on both roofs.
